New in revision 2: Kurlewin now has object parameter lists, print to text files (including a tab delimited format) and a new remote front panel layout! Now you can fully backup and document your program patches, program lists, bin maps, performance setups and more! And, by utilizing file transfers to/from Kurle you can do offline editing. Revision 2.0.1 fixed a problem that prevented Kurlewin from opening older .kur files produced by the DOS version of kurle. Revision 2.02 added a tab delimited file print. These files can be opened by spreadsheet applications and sorted anyway you want.  Do program list sorts by Program Number or ID or Program Name.

Kurlewin:

Kurlewin is a Windows backup and restore utility for Kurzweil 1000 series keyboards and expanders. It is the windows version of it's old MS-DOS predecessor (Kurle) -without the object editing features. If you own a Kurzweil 1000 series keyboard (K1000, K1200) or expander (1000PX, 1000AX, 1200 Pro I,II,III, etc.) and a personal computer running Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, XP or Vista, then Kurlewin is a must have utility. It is the ONLY windows compatible librarian for the 1000 series and will replace that old Mac Object Mover, Atari Object Mover, and the various old MS-DOS programs that you may now be using. Never again fear losing all those programs and setups you have created because that little backup battery failed. With Kurlewin, you can backup or restore your expander or keyboard in one easy step. In addition, you can change names or the id numbers of programs, setups (any object), sort the directory of objects by type, object name, id number or size and print the directory - producing valuable reference material. You can list the parameters in every object in your Keyboard or Expander. List and print the programs in your program lists, your bin maps contents, and your performance set ups. Never again have to scroll through hundreds of programs trying to find 'Grand Piano' or some other program you 'know' is in there somewhere - but you forgot the id number. A remote front panel gives you complete control of the expander or keyboard on your computer screen and .. the remote front panel adds more features to you 8 button expander! (Bin maps, 0-9 digits, Enter, Store) Have access to those old object mover (mom, kur, obj, kof) files? Kurlewin imports the data from any of these formats. Tired of hanging on to those old legacy Midi interfaces because they are the only ones supported by your old Mac, Atari or MS-Dos object mover programs? Kurlewin supports all Midi Interfaces that have the appropriate Windows drivers, including USB, Serial, Parallel, internal or 'built in' motherboard Midi controllers. Have more than one Midi port? Kurlewin lets you simply select the ports you have connected to your keyboard or expander. And the old Kurle fuel gauge is there also - showing you how much RAM is being used by your RAM objects (or how much is left). Kurlewin uses Windows cut and paste techniques to copy, cut and paste objects between file windows (a window listing all the objects in a open file) and device windows (a window listing all the objects in an open keyboard or expander). Up to 5 files and 5 keyboards or expanders can be open at one time. (you will require one Midi input and one Midi Output port for each keyboard or expander).
